MRF24J40MA ZigBee Module
Microchips MRF24J40MA is a very small, wireless 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 transceiver module. This module is surface mounted and comes with an integrated PCB antenna, internal voltage regulator and integrated crystal oscillator. MRF24J40MA is compatible with a range of software including ZigBee, MiWi and MiWi P2P. Not to mention, this module is compliant with a range of PIC families include PIC16F, PIC18F, PIC24F/H, dsPIC33 and PIC32.
Features and benefits:
- Tiny, surface mountable module allows you to easily integrate it into your design
- 2.4GHZ, IEEE 802.15.4 standard with ZigBee, MiWi and MiWi P2P support
- Strong AES-128 encryption for all your security needs
- FCC, IC and ETSI certified
- Brilliant compatibility with Microchips PIC families
- On-board crystal oscillator, antenna and voltage regulator
- Four wire SPI-interface with maximum data speeds of 250Kbps
- Up to an impressive 120m range
- 3.3V typical voltage but can be used in between 3.0 to 3.6V
Applications:
- Wireless sensor networks,
- Home automation
- Building automation
- Consumer applications
AES-128 encryption:
The on-board encryption is a great tool to help protect your privacy and data. AES-128 is a symmetric key encryption cypher and allows you to have a secure key to encrypt & decrypt your data. Symmetric ciphers are much more efficient for encrypting large amounts of data, easily.
