ADuM4151/4152/4153 Series SPIsolator Digital Isolators, Analog Devices
The ADuM4151/ADuM4152/ADuM4153 series, from Analog Devices, are 7-channel digital isolators which are optimised for isolated serial peripheral interfaces (SPIs). They form a part of the SPIsolator™ family of devices. The ADuM4151/ADuM4152/ADuM4153 family offer integration of three auxiliary data channels reduces the size and cost.
Based on iCoupler® chip scale transformer technology, the ADuM4151/ADuM4152/ADuM4153 SPIsolator™ family have low propagation delay in the CLK, MO/SI, MI/SO, and SS SPI bus signals supports SPI clock rates of up to 17MHz. These channels operate with 14ns propagation delay and 1ns jitter to optimize timing for SPI.
The ADuM4151/ADuM4152/ADuM4153 isolators also provide three additional independent low data rate isolation channels in three different channel direction combinations. Data in the slow channels is sampled and serialized for a 250kbps data rate with up to 2.5μs of jitter in the low speed channels.
Features of the ADuM4151/ADuM4152/ADuM4153 SPIsolator™:
- Supports up to 17 MHz SPI clock speed
- 4 high speed, low propagation delay, SPI signal isolation channels
- Three 250 kbps data channels
- 20-lead SOIC_IC package with 8.3 mm creepage
- High temperature operation: 125°C
- High common-mode transient immunity: >25 kV/μs
SPIsolator™ Digital Isolators
Utilising Analog Devices iCoupler® Technology, the SPIsolator™ digital isolators are dedicated SPI isolators. They offer a small footprint, simple design, fast speed and high data integrity. Different to optocoupler and previous digital isolator solutions, the SPIsolator ™ family offers the ability to increase performance and lower cost all while reducing board space by utilizing a single compact form factor.
Digital Isolators, Analog Devices
A comprehensive range of Digital Isolators featuring iCoupler® technology from Analog Devices. These products combine high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technologies to provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternative product types such as opto-coupled devices and exhibit superior long-term reliability, stability and longevity.
