The Altivar Process Drive gives you extensive flexibility in water, wastewater, mining, minerals, metals as well as oil, gas, food and beverages. This series of Variable Frequency Drives is the perfect solution to help you improve your machines effectiveness across a variety of applications. Altivar ATV630 VFD (Variable Frequency drive) Series has an IP21 rating and can been wall mounted. It has a three phase synchronous and asynchronous motor which makes it the optimum choice across many businesses.

Depending on the customers requirements, wall-mounting drives, built-in cabinet and floor-standing solutions are available with IP 21, IP 23, IP 54 and IP 55 protection degrees.
Optimum monitoring of your process is given through the instant reaction, if the pump efficiency drops, this is all thanks to the embedded pump monitoring.
Notification of critical operation points without having to have additional sensors.
Featuring a process integration with pressure, flow and level control including compensation of flow losses.

What is the Stop & Go function on the Altivar Process Drive?
This special feature gives a huge reduction on the energy that is consumed with the motor is on standby mode and the power supply of the drive is switched on. This function can save you up to 60% on energy use. When the Stop & Go function is in action the machine will switch off the power section (rectifier, DC-Bus), the fans and backlight of the graphic keyboard. This energy saving mode is automatically switched on when the machine is not in use or running, this is known through the communication network and can be adjustable through the parameter.
