MDU4220 Doppler Motion Detector Module 10.525 GHz (Belgium, Canada, Italy, Netherlands, US)
The Microwave Solutions MDU4220 Motion Detector Module is an X-Band Microwave Transceiver that utilises the Doppler Effect to detect movement. The MDU4220 emits a microwave signal which is compared against the returned signal for frequency shift, indicating movement. This comparison generates an IF output signal that can be amplified and processed by host system circuitry.
The MDU4220 is optimised for long range detection through the use of a high gain/narrow beam antenna array. A pair of orthogonal balanced mixers enhance the sensitivity and direction sensing capability of the module.
This version of the MDU4220 operates at 10.525 GHz making it suitable for applications in countries such as Belgium, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands and the US.
