Functions

The IP Desktop joystick has 3 axis movement for X, Y and Z positioning control. The X and Y-axis control pan and tilt while the Z-axis controls zoom. All three axes are sprung to centre and give a smooth, durable feel. The X and Y axis gives 36° of travel (18° off centre) and the Z axis gives 60° of travel (30° off centre).

The top of the joystick has 2 tactile push button switches that are positioned perfectly for thumb or finger actuation. The base of the joystick has a further ten tactile push button switches. All the switches are programmable giving you full control for various applications.

Power and Connectivity

This unit connects via USB making instillation quick and simple. It is supplied with a USB type A connection on a 2m cable. There is no need for complex wiring, helping to reduce instillation time and maintenance costs. Power is supplied directly from the USB connection eliminating the need for a dedicated PSU, again helping to reduce costs even further.

The APEM IP Desktop joystick is compatible with a wide variety of operating systems, including Windows (multiple platforms), OSX and Linux. It uses standard DirectX HID drivers allowing it to connect directly to a workstation PC.
