Si882xx ISO-KIT Isolator Evaluation Kit
The Si882xx ISO-KIT isolator evaluation kit enables the evaluation of the Si88xx series of quad digital isolators, with the evaluation board featuring the Si88241ED-IS isolator.
The ISO-KIT includes various test points that can measure and observe time varying currents and voltages to calculate parameters such as efficiency and load/line regulation.
Supplied with
Evaluation board, Si88241ED-IS quad digital isolator, UTB02581s 3-5 V transformer, start-up card
Digital Isolators, Silicon Laboratories
The Silicon Labs broad range of Digital Isolation products offers significant improvements over older isolation technologies such as opto-couplers. They demonstrate lower power consumption, greater reliability and higher performance, and are generally smaller in size and lower in cost. These CMOS-based devices exhibit stable operating characteristics over a wide temperature range and do not suffer from the lifespan limitations of opto-coupled devices.
