RS PRO Self-Clinching Nuts
RS PRO range of self-clinching nuts which feature a strong thread and come in a wide range of thread sizes. These clinch nuts are suitable for use as sheet metal fasteners.
A clinch nut is usually installed into aluminium, steel or stainless-steel sheets and can also be known as a self-clinching nut or a flush nut. These nuts are easy to use and leave a flush finish with the sheet of metal. Self-clinching nuts are installed using a parallel squeezing force so access to both sides of the panel is needed.

827-596 - self clinching nut, No.1 x M3
827-603 - self clinching nut, No.2 x M3
827-619 - self clinching nut, No.3 x M3
827-625 - self clinching nut, No.0 x M4
827-631 - self clinching nut, No.1 x M4
827-647 - self clinching nut, No.2 x M4
827-653 - self clinching nut, No.1 x M5

How do clinch nuts work?
A clinch nut can be installed by being placed in a properly sized hole, then apply a parallel squeezing force to the head of the nut. After this action, the parenting material flows into the specially designed under head configuration which results in a load bearing and torque resistant joint.
