Product details
Multipulse™ SIDAC, Littelfuse
The Littelfuse range of SIDACs are silicon bilateral voltage-triggered switches, that are suitable for high voltage power supplies, natural gas igniters and high-pressure sodium lamps. SIDAC's feature glass-passivated junctions to ensure a rugged and reliable device capable of lasting in harsh environments.
Features:
AC circuit oriented
Triggered voltage of 79V to 330V
RoHS compliant
Available in a DO-15 or DO92 Package
SIDACs
The SIDAC is a bi-directional diode member of the thyristor family; the name is an acronym for Silicon Diode for Alternating Current. The device is triggered into conduction by an applied voltage which is greater than the rated breakover voltage (VBO) and remains in the conducting state until the device current drops below the minimum specified holding current.
