Zircon MetalliScanner m40
The m40 Metalliscanner from Zircon is designed to easily detect metal in wood, drywall, panelling, tiling, plaster, concrete and other non-metallic surfaces.
The m40 solves the difficult problem of finding metal studs in lath and plastered walls. It works by finding the pattern of nails that attach the wooden lath to the studs.
Featuring two scanning positions, each with a progressive LED display. When the Metal Detector approaches a metallic object, red LEDs progressively light from the bottom up. Once the metal target is located the top lighted blue coil and audio tone are activated.
It locates ferrous (magnetic) metal up to 4 in (102 mm) deep and non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal up to 2 in (51 mm) deep.
Features and Benefits:
Pinpoint Scan to locate small metal objects such as screws and nails
Wide Scan to detect metal in walls or concrete
LED arrays indicate signal strength
